Mr Eshiet said some motorists get comfortable with the temporary driving licences issued to them.
Mr Eshiet said the objectives of the operation were to check road crashes.
“When you are driving, you should know that you are the only sane person on the road,” said an FRSC sector commander.
Mr Eshiet described road traffic crashes and fatalities as a public health crisis
“Operation show your legal evidence to drive on Nigerian highways will commence from May 1. The command is poised to get rid of unlicensed drivers from the highways in Delta state.”
