He noted that nearly 90 countries are now involved in ongoing conflicts, including major nuclear powers.
Mr Lukashenko, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said Mr Prigozhin is no longer in the country, as he had returned to Russia, according to VOA.
“We could waste (Mr Prigozhin), no problem. If not on the first try, then on the second. I told him: don’t do this,” Mr Lukashenko said.
In May, Russia dismissed Mr Biden’s criticism of its plan to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, saying the U.S. had deployed such nuclear weapons in Europe for decades.
“No one in Russia is going to attack Ukraine.”
