The workers had embarked on the strike on January 19 over unresolved grievances, including welfare issues and alleged high-handedness.
The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress say they will stage a peaceful solidarity rally on February 3 in support of the Joint Union Action Committee.
Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, under the Joint Union Action Committee, resumed their indefinite strike on Thursday over unresolved welfare issues.
The unions described the continued delay as a deliberate act of injustice against health workers.
It described the surge in attacks on schools as alarming.
Mr Upah called on international partners and donor agencies to honour their commitments to climate finance.
Ms Chinyangarara said ILO remains committed to empowering workers’ organisations through dialogue, skills development, and advocacy to ensure no one is left behind.
Mr Upah also accused the Edo government of seizing the keys to the NLC secretariat in Benin and threatening caretaker committee members.
“If the government feels that two years is the best tenure to go, it should be two years for everyone, including the office of the president and principal public officers as well,” said
The NLC condemned the police commissioner’s action and threatened to protest nationwide if he failed to urgently apologise for trampling on both unions’ rights.
