Mr Yilwatda announced that he was in the state on the directives of President Bola Tinubu.
Mr Ayatse assured the president that the people of Benue who supported him in 2023 would continue to stand with him.
Another viral video showed Mr Tinubu’s convoy wading through the flooded Makurdi–Lafia Road.
“In Tinubu we trust, In Alia we’ll continue,” stated another banner to show approval for Governor Hyacinth Alia’s second term bid.
Mr Othman-Ngelzarma also lauded the Federal Government and security agencies for their prompt actions to restore normalcy in the affected areas.
Mr Mark described the killings in Benue as “senseless, tragic and unacceptable.”
Mr Tinubu took to his X handle on Sunday evening to celebrate Father’s Day.
“Benue state accounts for the highest death toll of 6,896,” Amnesty International said.
However, Mr Alia did not mention any names of top politicians he accused of sponsoring killings in the state
