U.S. President Joe Biden is giving mercy to nearly 2500 offenders of non-violent drugs days before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in.
Mr Trump called Ms Cheney a warmonger, saying she should face guns pointed at “her face.”
Mr Biden, 81, called Mr Trump shortly after the election to congratulate him on his victory and invite him to the White House.
Mr Trump’s campaign said Mr Biden had invited him to a meeting at the White House at an unspecified time.
“Nothing will stop me from keeping my word,” Trump declared in his victory speech.
“Russia’s sovereign assets would be immobilised until Russia ends its aggression and pays for the damage it caused,” Mr Biden stated.
Ms Swift, who has won multiple Grammy awards, endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 but has not backed any other candidate since then.
On July 21, Mr Biden stepped down his reelection bid, saying it is in “the best interest” of the Democratic Party.
Days later, Mr Biden succumbed to COVID-19 while campaigning in Nevada. Shortly afterwards, he gave in to the cacophony of voices to step aside.
“Even though, as a Social Democrat, I am keeping my fingers crossed for the Democrats, we will have to prepare for all possible scenarios,” the minister said.
