The Borno government has deployed 20 electric buses for public transportation as part of measures to cushion the impact of rising petrol prices on residents.
Mr Balami said the institution’s establishment was a deliberate response to skill gaps in Nigeria’s aviation industry.
Mr Zulum said 1,000 transitional shelters are being built in each community.
“I want to announce a financial assistance of N5 million to each of the bereaved families to cater for their immediate needs,” said Mr Zulum.
Mr Wakilbe said the commitment of Gov. Babagana Zulum’s administration to education remains unwavering.
According to him, the planned fuel subsidy was designed to cushion the effects of the high cost of farming activities.
Mrs Zulum said the exercise equipped them with the skills to become self-reliant and contribute to the state’s economic development.
The Borno government has unveiled plans to construct northern Nigeria’s first intra-city rail network.
He expressed deep sympathy for those affected by the floods and called on the people of Borno to unite in prayer.
“Our hope was that they would proceed to Sambisa forest and probably find a more habitable place,” said the Borno government.
