Mr Marwa thanked the lawmaker for the visit and assured him of the preparedness of the agency to work with him and the committee.
In his personal message on Wednesday in Abuja, Mr Marwa described Eid-el-Kabir as a period that reinforces the values of sacrifice and compassion.
The chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Buba Marwa, has paid a get-well visit to two wounded officers at the National Hospital in Abuja.
The suspect travelled from Malaysia to Thailand and subsequently to Nigeria through the UAE.
He said the opioids included pentazocine and promethazine injections, and tramadol capsules.
Mr Marwa said, “Whether they hide behind legitimate businesses, religious titles, or complex concealment methods, we will find them.”
He said such international engagements were critical to building a modern agency.

Mr Marwa said the NDLEA created the Alternative Development Project unit to discourage the peasant farmers from growing the illicit drugs.
