At least 11 ships have arrived at Lekki, Tincan and Apapa ports in Lagos, waiting to discharge diesel, crude oil, bulk urea, aviation fuel and general cargo.
NPA explained that 17 of the expected ships carried containers with different goods.
NPA said the ships were discharging petrol, diesel, crude oil, buckwheat, general cargo, containers, bulk gas, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, base oil, and bulk urea.
The NPA said that six vessels were expected to berth at the Lagos ports with crude oil, petrol, containers and aviation fuel.
“Without an uninterrupted supply of crude oil to refineries, the energy industry cannot assure continued provision of essential products to people across Europe.”
