Mr Karaye further said that the petitioners failed to prove their allegations of forgery against the 3rd respondent before the tribunal.
She said the petitioners’ case was too weak to establish a forgery case against the respondent.
INEC had declared Mr Wombo as the winner of the Feb. 25 election with 59,939 votes while Mr Gbande came second with 39,414 votes.
He said the peaceful conduct of the primaries marked the beginning of the liberation of the state from “oppressive forces”.
The witness said he relied on forms EC8As, EC8B, EC8C, EC8D, EC8E and BVAS reports released by INEC to arrive at his findings.
“These monetary compensations will help to alleviate your feelings and what you have suffered,” the governor said.
