NDDC’s governing board says President Bola Tinubu has implemented viable economic programmes during his administration’s three years in office.
Mr Okowa cautioned against internal rivalry and divisive tendencies.
“As it stands, only 370,000 officers are responsible for the security of over 230 million people,” said the NDDC chair.
Mr Ebie stated that selected participants would receive N50,000 monthly.
“We know that education is the most powerful weapon for changing the fortunes of the Niger Delta region,” he said.
Mr Ebie said that it was apt to sensitise the people, particularly youths to mental wellness.
The area suffered an outbreak of cholera in March due to the scarcity of potable water.
He charged the NDDC to execute visible projects that would add value to people’s lives.
