“Every interaction, ruling, and exercise of discretion by judges shapes public perception of fairness, integrity, and accessibility within the justice system,” the CJN said.
Mrs Ade-Ajayi stated, “Making the candidates’ names public gives room for objections where necessary and strengthen confidence in the judicial appointment process.”
The submission of the names was delayed due to security screening, NJC said.
“The temple of Justice trembles where justice is denied. We must be a symbol of incorruptible honour,” said the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
