The COAS decried that many of the troops were carrying the marks of courage and bravery through battle scars and deformities.
“Thus, I charge each and every officer and soldier to spare no quarter in running these terrorists and criminals to the ground,” the army chief said.
The COAS charged the troops to stay focused and end all forms of insecurity in the South-East and Cross River State.
Mr Oluyede said the army was reviewing its strategies and intensifying efforts to ensure an effective response to security threats nationwide.
“The member representing Okwuani constituency, Edafe Chukudi, is hereby suspended for 14 legislative days for gross misconduct,” the speaker said.
He said the facilities would also foster a stronger sense of discipline and unity in the Nigeria Army.
Mr Lagbaja said the troops had displayed unalloyed loyalty, extraordinary courage and faith in the nation by emerging victorious in the face of grave danger.
Mr Lagbaja said the project was part of an effort to encourage the learning of ICT at the secondary school level.
He also thanked Gov. Uba Sani for his support to the division towards ensuring a secured environment.
He urged the state’s residents to provide the military with adequate information about incidents.
