Mr Lagbaja charged the troops to reciprocate the federal government’s support by remaining loyal to the Nigerian Constitution and the government.
Army spokesman Onyema Nwachukwu, in a statement, said the exercises are ‘EXERCISE STILL WATERS 3’, ‘GOLDEN DAWN 3’ and ‘ENDURING PEACE 3’.
He also called on the troops to remain committed to the fight against insecurity in their areas of responsibility.
Mr Ali-Alabi said as soldiers, they have no business with partisan politics, as such anyone who gets involved will face the consequences.
On the seminar, Mr Lagbaja said it was to discuss likely challenges the unit may face and proffer innovative solutions.
The conference is being attended by army field commanders and heads of institutions and establishments.
Mr Adeniyi said there was a need to expose the officers to joint training operations with the Nigerian Army.
