He begged Nigerians to have trust and belief in the security agencies by turning out to vote on election day.
The minister of state for defence said the retirees’ experience, garnered over the years as military officers, would remain relevant.
Christopher Musa pledged the Armed Forces support to the police in ensuring that the states’ elections were free and fair.
He said the country owed a debt of gratitude to its gallant troops, who have risen to the challenge of securing the country.
The CDS assured the minister of the military’s commitment to rid the country of criminals and make Nigeria and Nigerians safer.
Gen. Christopher Musa assured that the security challenges facing the country would soon be a thing of the past and sought prayers for the military to succeed.
He said such an expansion would go a long way in containing threats and consolidating ongoing efforts in those areas.
He said the charge was in line with President Bola Tinubu’s directive to the armed forces and other security agencies.
“We, therefore, urge the residents to support and work with the military toward restoring peace and stability in the area,” the group added.
Mr Ribadu estimated the value of 400,000 barrels of crude oil at about 4 million dollars, and blamed the loss on the country’s high cost of living.
