Mr Idris a said that NAF’s feats were a direct result of the standards set and the values the veterans instilled in others.

He said the parley had provided the opportunity to reflect on what it meant to be a patriot and a veteran.
The commander said it was also an avenue through which NAF could gain from the veterans’ experiences, which he said can assist in improving their welfare.
Mr Abubakar also paid tribute to the fallen heroes and wounded warriors.
