“We are open to partnerships with Chinese airlines and investors,” the governor said.
According to him, the road project is part of Governor Ahmed Ododo’s economic expansion agenda.
LAMATA disclosed in a statement on Monday that Mr Sanwo-Olu will conduct the flag-off of the second rail system for commercial operations.
He assured that the projects would be completed in 2025 and inaugurated as part of activities to celebrate FCT’s 50 Anniversary.
“I just discussed with the contractor that, by God’s grace, we are going to segment the project. We will complete Kano-Daura next year (2025),” said the minister.

He said he was concerned by the delay and inefficiencies that had plagued the construction process.
