Zhou Hongyou, the minister of the Chinese embassy in Nigeria described tea as a bridge for dialogue and mutual learning among civilisations.
Mr Moore responded to the Chinese embassy’s statement opposing the U.S. threat to invade Nigeria to eliminate terrorists killing Christians.
The ambassador highlighted China’s experience in lifting millions of people out of poverty and expressed his country’s willingness to share expertise with Nigeria.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until Aug. 31.
“Nigeria and China share a time-honoured friendship, especially in defence cooperation,” Mr Matawalle said.
He described the occasion as a bridge of friendship and understanding between the two nations.
Ms Musawa announced this on Saturday at a New Year gala night celebrating China-Nigeria friendship hosted by the China Cultural Centre in Abuja.
Zhang Yi, the chargé d’affaires of the Chinese embassy in Nigeria, has reaffirmed China’s commitment to support Nigeria’s development.
The Chinese embassy in Zambia has donated about $500,000 to the Zambian government to help the country fight against cholera.
“We strongly condemn this terrorist attack, express deep sympathy for the victims, and extend sincere condolences to the bereaved families,’’ China said.
