Fifteen worshippers at the Christ Apostolic Church were kidnapped on Tuesday during a night vigil.
Gunmen on Tuesday night attacked a Christ Apostolic Church in Eda Oniyo Ekiti, Ilejemeje LGA of Ekiti, killing a pastor and kidnapping scores of worshippers.
Multiple reports said the armed bandits stormed the village in large numbers around 6 p.m. on Monday.
From remote villages to bubbling towns, the trauma inflicted by the violent groups caused deep emotional and physical wounds.
The state police spokesperson said two cops were injured in the attack.

Mr Oyedepo expressed concerns over attacks on churches, berating those denying Christian genocide.
