Mr Imasuen raised concerns over both agencies’ inadequate funding, which he said had hindered their effectiveness in fighting corruption.
The three-member tribunal, headed by Justice Danladi Umar, ordered Mr Magaji’s suspension on Thursday in Abuja following misconduct allegations.
The judge further said the Code of Conduct Bureau Act exposed Mr Umar to an investigation by the National Assembly than any other Nigerian.
