One of the hostels in the College of Nursing Sciences was gutted by fire at about 9.00 a.m. on Thursday.
Mr Obi said nurses were crucial to the nation’s health sector given the enormity and importance of their work.
Peter Obi, on Thursday, presented a N10 million cheque to the College of Nursing Sciences, St. Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital, Onitsha, Anambra.
“Nigeria today lacks basic medical care workers which nursing is number one.’’
Registration, including procurement and filling of admission forms would be done online, said the state government.
