Mr Oki said the developers did not have building plan approvals and did not have layout approvals.
The state government has directed the adjoining building be demolished for safety reasons.
The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Idris Salako, said this in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos.
“Our monitoring and enforcement team will be visiting all other government schemes.”
“No amount of pressure would compel the government to outsource its responsibility.”
