The Kano government has constituted a 23-member high-level committee to disburse N8 billion in financial support and relief materials to victims of the Singer Market blaze.
Mr Egbabor said the petitions came from both ward and local government levels.
The senator said that it was imperative for security agencies to perform optimally.
The chairman of the committee, Addeh Isibor, disclosed this during Monday’s public hearing at the assembly complex in Benin.
“Real-time information sharing remains a challenge, exacerbating existing gaps in service delivery.’’
The lawmakers decried frequent borrowings by the regime of president Muhammadu Buhari.
