The UK no longer advises against all but essential travel to Abuja, but said the risks remain.
On Wednesday, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) updated its travel advice on the increased threat of terrorist attacks in Abuja.
According to the PERL coordinator, citizens and government need to work together towards sustaining the programme beyond its lifespan following the recorded gains.
