“Within the quarter, we saw 62 exchange rate changes. Rates ranged from ₦1,477.72 to ₦1,569.53 per dollar, averaging ₦1,521.59,” the customs boss stated.
Mr adeniyi said, “They have done it before with the right support and environment and they can still do it again.’’
The FRSC boss urged the officers to take care of their physical and mental health to effectively carry out their duties.
“Global inflation is impacting nations worldwide, including Nigeria,” said the customs boss.
”The importer of the drugs gave two fake addresses, which raised customs curiosity, leading to the discovery,” Mr Adeniyi said.

DCG Nandap takes over from Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose term in office expires on February 29, 2024.
Mrs Adepoju charged the newly-promoted officers to validate their advancements through loyalty to authorities.
According to the spokesperson, there would be more revenue to be accrued to the federal government with the exercise.
“They collected almost N15 million from innocent Nigerians,” the comptroller-general said.
