Mr Ibrahim said the organisation was creating awareness on the importance of voter registration and mobilising participation in the exercise.
INEC said the additional centres became necessary due to an upsurge of registrants wishing to obtain their Permanent Voter Card (PVC).
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says 6.5 million of 10.2 million would-be voters have so far completed their Continuous Voters Registration (CVR).
The distribution is for those who registered during the first and second quarter of the on-going CVR exercise conducted between June 28 and December 20, 2021.
“Double or multiple registrants risk the tendency of having their registration cancelled,” the INEC official warned.
INEC spokesman Festus Okoye, in a press statement on Monday, said the number of fresh registrants as of 7:00 a.m. on Monday rose to over 1 million.
