The WHO boss said Nigeria has many achievements to be proud of.

Mr Pate emphasised the progress made in combating HIV and acknowledged the crucial support provided by the U.S. government.
Mr Pate said thousands of health workers all over Nigeria work very hard, sometimes under challenging circumstances and need support.
Mr Pate said the boxes would be deployed at appropriate designated high-population areas such as airports.
According to him, malaria is endemic in the country and only concerted effort can eliminate it.
The health minister said the plan was to improve the effectiveness of health governance in Nigeria and minimise political interference.
The minister said issues such as poor working conditions, low salaries, non-payment of salaries, and others were the cause incessant strikes in the country’s health sector.
He noted that there was a gap in health outcomes that needed to be improved upon.
