The court ruled that the CBN acted beyond its legal powers and, therefore, overturned that decision.
She said the CBN is committed to stimulating productivity, financial inclusiveness and delivering on the core mandate of monetary and price stability.

The apex bank said that the policy was not targeted at anyone or group of persons, but to strengthen Nigeria’s economy.
The residents staged a peaceful protest on major streets and submitted a protest letter to the EKEDC District Manager in the area.
The disbursement was to 4,478,381 smallholder farmers under the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme.
