The Kaduna government has reiterated its readiness to conduct surgical castration for male rapists and bilateral salpingectomy for their female rapists.
The suspect pleaded guilty to the charge read to him by the presiding chief magistrate, Fati Umar Hassan.
The judge said they deserved mercy, noting that the boy was underage while the woman was aged, sick and frail.
The chief judge added that it was also to ensure efficiency and speed in the management of criminal trials and dispensation of justice.
The Office of the Attorney General prepared the charge against the cleric, charged him with blasphemy, incitement, and other sundry offences.
Sentencing Mr Ogun, the judge described him as a “callous, calculating and cunning old man who expended the funds on women.”
