The prosecution counsel, Kunle-Shina Adeyemo, told the court that the convicts committed the offences on June 12, 2024, in Ifaki Ekiti.
The police, on Thursday, arraigned 36-year-old Ayodele Ogunsola before the Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for assault.
The defendant, of no fixed address, is standing trial on a two-count charge of breach of peace and fraud.
The prosecutor said the stolen items valued at N164,000 belonged to one Babatunde Tosin.
Mr Apata alleged that the defendants killed a peacock worth N1 million with intent to steal it.
