Mr Otu gave the assurance while receiving the Nigerian Medical Association, Cross River chapter, during a courtesy visit in Calabar on Thursday.
The party had been embroiled in the issue of retaining the state working committee, led by Mr Ikem.
The party, however, granted automatic tickets to Governor Bassey Otu and his deputy, Peter Odey.
“When customers call for food or water, does it take up to 30 minutes before they are provided? Do we still have hotels with leaking roofs?” said an official.
The association said that they would meet in two weeks to review the state government’s actions and determine their next line of action.
The two medical doctors were abducted on Friday alongside two others at Ikomita section of the Calabar-Ikom Highway.
“We pray that this kind of event enhances the quick hearing and passage of the building code that has been with the National Assembly.”
