In a statement by Crusoe Osagie, the governor’s spokesman, the appointment is with immediate effect.
“Edo people should be calm. Save your vengeance and show it on election day by identifying the political party that caused the pain.”
Governor Godwin Obaseki says the Edo government spent $150 million on flood control and erosion management in different locations.
“We can categorically say, without any iota of fear of contradiction, that Edo government is owing councils.”
The Edo government began the ‘no vaccination card, no entry to government offices’ policy on Wednesday, saying it was a measure of commitment to protecting lives.
