He stated that the CP had directed the DPO to transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Birnin Kebbi for a discreet investigation to be conducted.
Mr Abubakar reiterated the force’s unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in discharging its duties.
He said the effort was part of the command’s efforts to rid the state of all forms of banditry and other heinous crimes.
The state police spokesperson said that the CP commended the resilience, professionalism and tactical display of gallant performances by the police officers.
