Mr Shuaibu reiterated the command’s commitment to protecting the country’s borders.
Mr Adeyeye commended the customs command for resilience and success in the fight against drug trafficking.

The controller said the revenue collected contributed significantly to national development.
The comptroller said the operations were in direct enforcement of provisions of section 233 of the Nigeria Customs Service Act 2023.
He said the recovered petrol would be auctioned because of its inflammable nature in line with NCS Act, 2023.
The CG, on Wednesday, announced that the service had hit its revenue target of N5.1 trillion on Tuesday, with more than a month remaining in the fiscal year.
Mr Nnadi said that it was the first time the command had crossed the trillion-naira mark since its establishment over 40 years ago.
