Mr Lawan said, “The coordinated operations carried out following credible intelligence, led to the recovery of a total of 8,271 pieces of assorted illicit drugs.’’
The CP reiterated commitment to intensify patrols, raids and surveillance to rid the state of criminal activities.
The CP said the feat achieved reflected the unwavering efforts of the officers and men of the command.
“Parents are eager to see how the policy develops,” Esther Akut, a parent, said. “We don’t want to be spending too much on graduation ceremonies.”
Mr Yusuf also swore in 13 special advisers at a ceremony held at the Government House, Kano.
