Mr Wushishi said NABTEB’s visit reflected strong institutional goodwill and expressed NECO’s enthusiasm for renewed collaboration.
Mr Wushishi said that the council’s quest to acquire the machine began in 2022, after he assumed duty in July 2021.
The registrar and chief executive of the National Examinations Council also argued that promoting science education would move the country forward.
Mr Wushishi was elected as the West Africa representative in the Executive Council at the just concluded 40th conference of the association in Cape Town, South Africa.
Mr Wushishi said the examination malpractice cases for 2023 SSCE external included two centres, one each in Kaduna and Ogun states.
The registrar said the 2023 SSCE, which would be concluded next week, was the best organised in recent years.
The registration is for pupils who would not be less than 10 years of age by September 2022.
NECO said it needs the fund to pay staff salaries, organise examinations and run its operations.
