He said that the figure was slightly lower than the 350 deaths recorded within the same period in 2022.
“From January 1 to December 31, 2023, a total of 10,617 RTCs were recorded across the country,” the FRSC boss said.
The FRSC boss advised Nigerians to remain committed to tackling the challenges posed by traffic violations.
FRSC corps marshal Dauda Ali-Biu has felicitated the Christian faithful and assured them of safety on the road.
“Drivers should be considerate by not doing things that will endanger other road users.’’
“I want you to know that you have voluntarily accepted to serve. I wish you success,” he said.
