The draft policy was presented by a technical team from the Partnership for Agile Governance and Climate Engagements.
Mr Otti said his administration remained committed to guaranteeing the welfare of all persons with disabilities.
Mr Anyaele said he was on a business trip to Freetown when he was attacked solely because he was a Nigerian.
Mr Anyaele said that Governor Alex Otti had shown commitment to supporting PWDs.
Mr Anyaele said that the commission realised that many SMEs in the LGA lacked access to financial support.
Mr Anyaele said the workshop was in line with the mandate of Governor Alex Otti regarding the inclusion and participation of PWDs in leadership.
He also said that the state’s HCD initiative would play a vital role in accelerating poverty alleviation.
Mrs Otti said that the high cost of food had eliminated the middle class in the country.
They made the request on Sunday during a courtesy visit to David Anyaele, the special assistant to the Abia governor on persons with disabilities.
