The Nigerian stock market rebounded on Thursday after two consecutive sessions of decline, with investors gaining N648 billion in market value.
The equities market closed bullish on Wednesday, adding N1.37 trillion to investors’ wealth.
The All-Share Index also increased by 0.09 per cent or 144.33 points to close at 166,256.83 points, against 166,112.50 points recorded on Monday.
A total of 439.9 million shares valued at N24.9 billion were exchanged in 40,245 transactions.
The sell-offs affected stocks like Academy Press, Custodian Investment, Dangote Cement, Deap Capital Management, Oando, and 56 others.
The market capitalisation, which opened at N89.626 trillion, declined by 0.08 per cent or N71 billion, to close at N89.555 trillion.
