The centre is expected to be equipped with world-class facilities that would aid the recovery of the wounded soldiers and offer them post-traumatic stress remedies.
Mr Buba said the troops recovered 97 assorted weapons and 3,117 assorted ammunition during the week.
The Defence Headquarters says its troops have, in the last week, killed 192 terrorists, apprehended 341 others and rescued 62 kidnapped hostages.
“Our security situation is self-inflicted. The military recognise that there is still a challenging and tough war campaign ahead,” the DHQ stated.
Troops neutralised at least 188 terrorists and arrested 330 others across the country in the last week.
The board is expected to be in Bayelsa on Friday in continuation of its assignment.
“The remaining terrorist ran in disarray, and the troops are in hunt of the remnant terrorist that fled the firefight,” the DHQ said.
The Defence Headquarters says troops neutralised no fewer than 2,352 terrorists, apprehended 2,308 and rescued 1,241 kidnapped hostages between January and March.
