The court adjourned the matter until June 23 to continue the trial.
“He was picked up not too long ago by armed policemen acting under the instructions of the commissioner of police in the FCT,” said Tope Temokun.
Beyond the bribery claim, Mr Adeyanju described the politician as a “political prostitute” who parades himself as a messiah while switching parties for convenience.
“He tried to give me money and called it thank you for coming, it’s 100% true,” Mr Adeyanju claimed in a previous post, insisting the gesture was an attempt to buy his loyalty.
Mr Adeyanju said, “Onanuga is too insensitive and immature.’’
“How can EFCC accuse someone who isn’t wealthy of money laundering? I’ve done a lot of charity work, and they’re wondering where I get the money from…,” said VDM.
The arrest came days after VeryDarkMan called GTbank out about suspicious debits from his mother’s account.
“Police finally arraign Speed Darlington in court. Bail application moved and granted. We are trying to perfect the same,” Mr Adeyanju stated.
“We must, therefore, ask why is the Nigeria Police Force fixated on policies that are apparently aimed at generating money,” Mr Adeyanju stated.
