“We passed through the Ogwashi-Uku Stadium, where we came for PDP governorship primaries in 2006. I passed through that as a delegate…today, I passed through it as governor.”
“All these and many others need to be tackled as quickly as possible to guarantee greater tomorrow,” Mr Guwor said.
The confirmation followed their successful screening on the floor of the assembly, presided over by the speaker, Dennis Guwor.
“As a good father, it is time for Tinubu to leave good inheritance of good governance and development for Nigerians,” she said.
The speaker said that 58 of the bills had already been assented to by Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa, while the remaining were awaiting assent.
Presenting the bill, Mr Onwo said that it would help speed up the treatment and care of gunshot victims when signed into law.
The nominee was presented for the screening exercise by the member representing Oshimili North and Chief Whip of the House, Pat Ajudua.
“This is the time for us to rise up in faith and not time to mourn. The church must be prayerful and cautious and have to think from the inside,” the governor said.
The Delta House of Assembly, on Wednesday, passed the 2023 Appropriation Bill of N571.6 billion.
