Akpodiogaga Emeyese, chairman of the college’s governing council, said this in Abuja on Monday.
The father of the suspected self-kidnapper had already paid N5.2 million ransom through a Bitcoin account belonging to Mr Lawrence.
This, he said, would also foster sustainable agricultural practices in the state and Nigeria at large.
“He is a vastly experienced police officer who has attended several courses both at home and abroad.’’
“All these efforts were geared at cushioning the effect of fuel subsidy removal on citizens of the State,” he said.
Mr Onoiribholo also canvassed for an increase in educational budgetary provision for Nigeria to meet the trends in technology and development.
The monthly wage bill for the state’s three polytechnics, Ozoro, Ogwashi-Uku, and Oghara was N342.2 million, while that of Delta State University, Anwai campus, was N52.3 million.
