In an interview with journalists on Friday, Mr Ojeifo said the confirmed case was among the 11 suspected cases recorded in the state during the period under review.
He attributed this to the discrepancies and irreconcilable data observed in the documents presented to the committee.
He urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the country.
He stated that the suspects are in police custody while the investigation is ongoing.
Mr Edafe said the 35 victims, rescued on Monday in a hotel, included 23 teenagers.
The police spokesperson explained that the suspect “lures them by telling them that they are coming to Delta State to work as a sales girl in a restaurant.”
Mr Imudia’s family, friends and associates were still in shock over the news.
The bureau said that Lagos State recorded the highest domestic debt of N929.41 billion in Q1 2024.
He said that an indigent required N7,000 to register for the scheme to access quality health care.
“The sad incident, which occurred on Saturday, was reported at the division by the brother of the fleeing suspect.”
