Gov. Oborevwori lamented the burden of the promotion arrears inherited by his administration.
He called for a concerted effort from the government, international community and citizens to curb the menace.
The governor said that a situation whereby some schools are left unenumerated for renovation or for rebuilding is unacceptable.
Mr Ngelale further explained that “off the books” pointed clearly to budget padding and shady deals by the legislators.
“If government accounts are unified in a single unit, it will block lickages.”
“We invested in other technologies such as the Digital Fabrication Lab and other labs around the country, but we are yet to build a cybersecurity laboratory.”
Governor Dikko Radda has announced the commencement of a Treasury Single Account (TSA) in Katsina.
