The DEPOWA president said that the association would continue to champion cancer awareness, support survivors and honour the memories of those lost to the disease.
She encouraged the senior citizens to maintain healthy lifestyles, remain active, and nurture both body and mind.
She said the impact of the monthly exercise was being obvious and was making a lot of difference.
She said that the menace of sexual exploitation and abuse was prevalent in society,
“You can imagine myself at 19 years, handling somebody that went to war, suffered (a) coup d’état, then lost several elections, and, finally, getting to the Villa in 2015.”
“One of the major issues is the distinct behavioural traits of returning officers such as nightmares… and bursts of anger among others.”
