NURTW has reelected Musiliu ‘MC Oluomo’ Akinsanya as chairman for a second term in Lagos.
Mr Tinubu had asked the loyalists of the governor and his deputy to bury the hatchet in the interest of peace in the state.
According to him, the neglect affects both primary and tertiary education, saddled with a poor learning environment and poorly trained personnel.
The meeting comes a few days after Reuben Fasoranti, leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, wrote Mr Tinubu to intervene in the feud.
“It is imperative to urge stakeholders to pursue peace with maturity and civilised conduct.’’
The attack occurred on Saturday along Maiduguri-Damaturu road.
The certificates of return were presented to the duo at the INEC headquarters in Lokoja.
“I believe that the pronouncement of the court is a testament to the confidence that Lagos residents have in our party.’’
Mr Olanipekun said the contract was well funded.
“This illegal activity would have robbed the nation of huge quantity of products for consumption by Nigerians.”
