Mr Ojerinde had, in February 2022, opted for a plea bargain with the anti-corruption commission before the settlement collapsed.
The ICPC alleged that Mr Ojerinde committed multiple frauds while heading the National Examinations Council (NECO) and JAMB.
Justice Ekwo adjourned the matter until November 15 and November 16 for the commencement of the trial.
Mr Ojerinde is arraigned alongside his four children, Mary Funmilola, Olumide Abiodun, Adedayo and Oluwaseun Adeniyi, by ICPC.
ICPC had accused the ex-JAMB boss of diverting N5 billion public funds and was dragged to court for an 18-count money laundering suit.
He admitted opening an account in the name of JAMB/J.O. Olabisi in a commercial bank on the instruction of Mr Ojerinde.
The judge fixed the date to enable the ex-registrar to change his counsel.
