The bill seeks to provide for the documentation, protection, and regulation of domestic workers, apprentices, interns, and other informal sector employees in Nigeria.
Mr Akpabio said the Senate was only suspending plenary activities, directing all ad hoc and other standing committees to conclude their work on pending reports ahead of resumption.
He said that the funds, if approved, would be used to renovate, reconstruct, and re-equip the skills development centres.
