The protesting residents blocked the ever-busy Marabar-Kankara to Katsina and Kano State road, which linked Malumfashi to Funtua and Kaduna State.
The affected ministers were directed to assume their new roles without delay to ensure continuity in government operations.

Mr Radda congratulated the appointees and enjoined them to display their expertise in discharging their duties.
Mr Armaya’u-Bichi said that in today’s rapidly changing world, traditional farming practices face many challenges.
Mr Radda demanded that the Emirates Council provide reasons for the district heads’ absence from the celebration.
“It is heart-warming to come across a state that understands the critical nature and impact of SMSMEs to the local economy.’’
“We promised to make Nigeria safe, and the security agenda has been a top priority of the administration for the past year,” Mr Tinubu said.
Mr Radda urged the pilgrims to continue to pray for the security, peace and harmony in the state and Nigeria in general.
Mr Radda reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritising the welfare of the residents.
