Former aviation minister Stella Oduah and another person charged with N2.5 billion fraud entered a plea bargain in the Abuja High Court.
The CP said that during the period, the command prosecuted 25 cases in court over alleged armed robbery, murder, kidnapping, and stealing.
The prosecutor said the defendant was found to be a member of the Aiye Confraternity.
The police alleged that the defendant committed the offence between January 2017 and December 2022, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
Mr Kwasu adjourned the matter until February 29 for further mention.
“The sentencing is to run consecutively and the convict is to have his name registered as a sex offender.”
She, therefore, adjourned the matter until Oct. 16 for mention.
The defendants were also accused of stealing one Techno phone, wristwatch, torchlight and eyeglasses, property of one Olaiya Afeez.
Mr Osibanjo was arraigned on a 16-count charge bordering on involuntary manslaughter and grievous harm. He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor, Mrs Aisha Salisu, told the court that the defendants committed the offence on Feb. 26 at Tudun Wada Dankadai in Dawakin Kudi Local Government Area of Kano State.
